I live in Nola and am sick of the cox bullshite. Does anyone here have direct tv? Is it easy to get access to Pels games on FSNO? And if so does it come with a normal package or do you have to buy an additional sports package? I'm sure this has been discussed before so I apologize and TIA

I live in San Antonio and I bought the NBA League Pass to watch the games. All I get on that station living here is the pregame, game, and post game. I get no other programming. I watch the games on that channel because I was gaurenteed to get Joel Meyers

I have to ask (honest question), what is the Cox bullshite? I'm n cheerleader for them and they're expensive I guess, but I do not get the love for fricking satellite TV. It is not nearly as reliable as cable (can't be any serious debate about that).

yes I am in Baton Rouge and the local sports here is 2 dollars a month extra. That get you Fox Sports New Orleans. So whoever said you have to pay 12 extra dollars a month is clueless

Well, can someone explain to me why about half the time there is a storm in the area that the satellite service becomes intermittent for a good stretch? Doesn't happen with cable. In fact, I'd say that I've been watching games in bars where they've had to switch from the satellite feed to cable in the middle of the broadcast about a half dozen times or so since the beginning of the year.

I can't tolerate any interruption whatsoever even if I'm paying half the price.

I've had DTV for three years, and I've lost signal MAYBE half a dozen times. And it has to be POURING for that to happen. If you're a big time sports fan, DirecTV is the only choice.

When the Cox repair workers actually tells you that he wishes they offered newwave or charter TV/internet services...that tells you enough about them.

He actually told me cox is one of the dirtiest and lowest quality cable services in the US and was disappointed that a smaller company like newwave isn't available to wider populations due to their prices and up-to-date technology.

I don't like Cox. But I don't like the unreliability of DirectTV either. People can say that they "never have a problem with it", but when I'm at someone's home or in a bar where it's in use, it's great with all the choices, etc, until we get a little storm in the area.
