This definitely turned out to be a game where we needed to play small, and it worked out.

Zion basically took over crunch time which is what we’ve yearned for all year.

Turned the game off about 3 minutes after this. Maybe I was bad luck…

Willie gets an A today
Without question.

Initially I didn't like Nance and the small ball and would have preferred Val and the small ball. But Nance did the damn thing today, no complaints there

My only nitpick was no Zion at start of 4th and the quick 10-0 run. But maybe Zion absolutely needed the rest, either way I feel he should have been in. But still, overall A grade for Willie.

I've given the reason before, it caused a complete shite show on the board

They’re still a bad team. Come on. Dont make the spurs out to be a competitive team. Why do we do this???!

Spurs just beat the 76ers tonight. They've now won 5 of their last 7 games.

Definitely here and there, it’s simply a coping mechanism. It’s impossible to be super positive about this franchise all the time, when sometimes it feels like the franchise is actively trolling us as well.

Lol ok. So they have 20 wins. We were at home up double digits on them and lost. That was a horrendous loss no matter how much you try to pump them up.

I get it, but there’s still no justifying that loss.

I still maintain the primary reason this happened is Zion not showing up in shape

That was one of the best conclusions of a Pels game since Zion has been a Pel. He took over: hit some pull up middies, got to the cup and finished strong, had some steals and of course some ridiculously strong blocks. I was bricked up watching that master class

Zion was great but shoutout CJ and Jose. Jose especially feels like he’s just the absolute emotional leader of this team. He just raises the intensity when he steps on the court. And he’s a damn good shooter and defender

. People ask about a future point guard for this team and I don’t see why it’s not Jose.

Jose is now shooting 38% for 3 this season on 3.6 attempts per game and also 50% from 3 in his last 10 games on 3.8 attempts per game.

Jose keeps working on his game and adding more to his bag. I do think that it's time to start asking whether he can eventually become a long-term starter for us at PG.

Elite bench guard. Remember peak JJ Barea? Don't think Dallas wins a Ship without him

He is not a starter on a good team and never will be. He is way too small.

He is a guy that if he stays healthy can hang around the league a long time as a bench guy.

Jose hits the 3 at opportune times
and causes havoc defensively.
Then there’s the energy he brings from the bench. Those things are real and tangible.
