The double dribble plus travel on SGA no call to me was unforgivable. Those are professional refs that should be an easy call for a 7th grade game. Now we have to beat one of the Bucks or Celtics to keep the wheels from coming off.

Certainly

But it's been a season long thing, so I don't see a reason to think the lesson was learned. But I'd love to be wrong.

That’s because this franchise for half the season kept making BI the guy.

In 11 minutes tonight Jonas had 6 points 6 rebs and 1 assist. Larry had in over 30 minutes 2 rebounds and looked scared to shoot the ball on offense all night. Great move there Willie.

I firmly believe if Borrego was the head coach we would already have 50 wins and a shot at the top seed.

I don't think Borrego has some secret playbook.

He's in the same meh category of coach as Wille.

Im not saying Borrego is some amazing coach. I just think he has a better mind for X and O than Willie. For instance, I don’t think he would have benched JV the whole second half and then complain about rebounding in the presser. Willie just does comically dumb stuff at times.

Fantastic news at one level.

On the other, if he'd played a little bit less earlier in the game, he might have played with more force at the end of the game.

What exactly does Willie see from Larry that we are missing? Seriously?

Jonas goes out in the second and we are down 2.
Larry comes in and we are down over 20 shortly after.

You all mentioned the stat line between Jonas and Larry.
Seriously, what are we missing?
Is Willie just stupid?

Correct

I've seen a few people on Twitter saying Nance was in for the comeback and made the comeback on defense because of his switch ability, blah blah blah.

It's all nonsense. Nance was brought in at 48-44 with 7 to go in the 2nd. 3 minutes later we were down 14.

Nance was in at the start of the 3rd, did absolutely nothing and 4.5 minutes later we were down 20.

So any talk of a comeback with Larry is nonsense, because the lead went from 4 to 20 when Larry was in the game.

The last time Val played the score was 48-44.

Also, we know Val is infinitely better than Nance on offense, so the idea of Nance over Val is for defense...

So explain why Nance is parked on Giddey in the 4th quarter?

Nothing makes sense, there's zero logic or rationale for decisions made last night.

This is the shite where people just like our record being improved and think you can can't call out Willie, those people aren't watching games. We're not winning more in each of 3 years of Willie because Willie is growing as a coach, not even close.

We're winning because Zion went from playing 0 games, to 29 games, to 65+ games. THAT is the reason why we're winning more games each season.
