Are we slowly getting to the point here about Herb maintaining this 3pt consistency? I feel like especially corner 3 he is becoming very similar to the Spurs Bruce Bowen except Herb can also make free throws.

Hasn’t mattered yet but Z has 2 rebound … 1 was just before the buzzer at half uncontested.

Definitely take a 10 point lead into the half. Good shooting night so far as well. Hope they keep it up and avoid that 3rd quarter letdown.

If you’re gonna stat watch like that then at least check the play by play and realize that board didn’t count cause the buzzer had already sound..

We’re winning now and hopefully it won’t matter but it typically hurts us in close games so it’s hard to just ignore.
Again we’re talking about a guy that ppl think is great or should carry our team . He is a good player and has omg moments but will not be able to do that bc he tries hard in one area and no others .

His rebounding is not the sole reason we lose close games. Bad coaching, bad shot selection, bad defense,- there are tons of issues. I think you’re a nitpicking a bit here with his rebounding- he can be better- but its not a huge issue.

Wrong. He wasn't given credit for that rebound as time had already expired. He had two previous to that.

Herb legit flirting with 50/40/90 is my one hesitancy to putting Dyson in a trade. If we can get that kind of shooting leap from Dyson, we are cooking with gas as far as lineup flexibility and depth. Herbs shot from college to rookie to now makes him a top 5 valuable contract in the league.

It’s not just the rebounding …he’s one of the single worst defenders in the entire league . I’ve accepted he will suck there but give some effort to grab a few boards so you aren’t a 100% liability on that end …is that too much to ask of your franchise player ?

Yes . He constantly out of position and lost in rotation and terrible in close outs .
Again it hasn’t hurt us too much tonight bc the Celtics have shot poorly and we’ve scored efficiently .
