he's average and has his faults. Isn't a true rim protector because he can get bullied down low, but he contests shots unlike a lot of other PF/Cs. He is quick and lanky in his ability to block shots from so far away, but he's never going to be a top end defender this early imo.

He works well as a guy who can roam around and swat at shots. He does not work well as a rim protector. That's why we need a defensive center like Asik.

AD and Drummond combo wouldve been nasty. Does anyone think that we still may have taken Austin Rivers anyway though?

Agreed, Qpon is better offensively than Gee, but both aren't GREAT wing defenders. The elite teams ALL have an elite wing defender.
