I've been on the Jrue train since the jump. Gave my buddy (sixers fan) a load of shite when we got him that night.

People also act like he's injury prone, but we haven't heard one word about his stress fracture this year. Imagine what would have happened if they had followed this protocol last year like they were supposed to.

I've always been impressed with Jrue. Ever understood the negativity from some. As soon as his stress fracture issue cleared, he was good to go.

His stress fracture issues were the basis of that negativity.

Yeah, I was really focusing on performance and not so much the injury (that I think, or hope, is a non-factor now).

Performance was an issue when healthy. His D was great, and TOs were not a big problem, but he has been much more efficient over the last 6 weeks. I know PER has its detractors, but it's a solid way to measure someone on the offensive side of the ball. I'm on my mobile, but I bet his PER this last month is his highest as a Pel.

Also, I don't have stats for this, but what frustrated me with Jrue was that he played timid. At least to the eye. Right now he is playing aggressive, and that to me is the most important turn of events.
