This isn't like football sir. You can have 13 active players on a given night. Our roster stands at 14 right now. Signing Douglas will give us the max of 15. If Babbitt plays Saturday then we will have 11 active players with Cole, Evans, Pondexter, and presumably Asik out.

If Luke is coming back Saturday and they bring in Douglas then who gets booted to IR?

Douglas would bring the roster back up to 15, you only need 2 inactives which would be Cole and Tyreke.

The 3 week mark is today, so maybe he'll be ready by Saturday.

It would be outstanding if he plays but methinks his first game will be against Orlando. I hope I am wrong in the assumption.

Not a fan of this. I hope Nate gets signed by a good team and wrecks havoc on the Pelicans like many of our formers players do. Dude didn't even get a MF chance.
Ish has played well but really after 2 games were gonna make conclusions that ish is better than Nate? If we can make those conclusions after 2 games then it shouldn't be wrong for anybody to say the Pelicans are god awful after 2 games.
Nate was suppose to be a big locker room guy like Perkins. Makes me sick we're bringing back Tony Douglas.

It's not about who's the better player but who's the better fit. Nate is a gunner, not a PG. We need a PG that can set up all of our offensively one dimensional players. The offense had no flow with Nate "in charge". The offense did run better with Ish.

I don't think you could point to anything Robinson did well for us. He was exciting 8 years ago, though...

No im just a fan of players who get cut or don't get a legit shot (Nate) and prove themselves otherwise. Aminu did it to us last season even though he was over paid, but Nate being on a min contract was a steal. Now another WC team will pick him up and I hope the best for him.

I totally agree because we are talking about Nate and ish running the offense not jrue or reke and ish is better suited. However, Nate doesn't have to run the offense nearly as much if not at all when we are healthy. He's a huge spark off the bench that can be given minimal but effective minutes.

Considering he was god awful I'm not shocked.

Nate wasn't even on a team until 2 weeks ago. He's not going to go anywhere and become anything more than an end of the bench player. And how did we not give Aminu a shot? He got every chance to prove himself here, and he signed with Dallas for more than we were willing to give him.
