Great logic. Don't get rid of the picks . keep the contingency plan in place so that the pels will not completely suck that badly 5 years from now in a worst case scenario situation.
You keep drafts picks so you have the chance to luck into an AD. We should be way past that

I don't know the answer but they were definitely pumping up the move... Felt like they were trying to make the sale to the fanbase.
You can cover a rumor objectively and that is not what they were doing.
Hopefully they were just speculating. The show after them was having Jake Madison from BSS on to talk about it but I turned it off before he came on.

Same goes for us. I'm not sure why we would take on a bad deal from Houston when they made the bad deal to poach our players. Also, wasn't Anderson itchy to get out of New Orleans. I would think our participation would be as part of a 4 team deal.

That's part of Houston's game. It has also been part of Anderson's game for as long as he's been in the league. It used to bother several of us on here when he'd flop and flail while his man ran up the court.
