Sure this has been discussed at some point. Is it settled that unless you have cox or direct tv you will need to stream the pels on ballys? Will there be an app that you can get on a smart tv? Will it drop before preseason games start? Thanks in advance for clarification. BTW I currently use YTTV.

None of that is known right now, but the suspicion is if you don’t already get Bally’s you’ll have to pay $20-$30 a month to get the games in the Ballys app.

As for a smart tv app, I wouldn’t expect one if they don’t make one now.

I refuse to support raggedy arse Ballys. If that's the only option, it's illegal streams again for me.

Pels fans and all NBA fans need to have a reckoning at this point. This team has had 3 years to fix this massive issue and they did nothing but spit in our face and tell us it would be ok. Nobody is paying for that crap and apparently they don't care. Middle class people aren't spending $200 so they watch shitty telecasts. Bars aren't paying $200 to show 2 pels game a week. This stifles the fanbase.

I am in DFW and the only time its blacked out is when they play the Mavs, which is already local station here.

The Saints and Pels on the business side tend to do a lot of dumb shite

Correct. I live in Louisiana so its blacked out for me with that setup of

YTTV + League Pass.

Which absolutely is trash when trying to watch the game.

If you watch through league pass you don't need Bally's and probably couldn't use Bally's. They only have local broadcast rights so this applies to people that live within about 75 miles of New Orleans. League Pass is blacked out for locals.

So how does someone watch the Pels game?

Fork up $20 for Ballys?

Correct. I have YouTube TV also and live in Baton Rouge. I'm going to pay for Ballys on the month to month plan just during the season. Worth it to me so I don't have to fight the illegal streaming ads.

VPN + Set Location to India: $5.99ish a month

League Pass India: Probably around $20 for the season

This is what I did last year and it worked pretty well as long as I had good internet. I could only watch on my fire stick though, it wouldn’t work on my phone because you have to have GPS location on

I heard that as well. Friend of mine tried through his apple products and couldn't change the location.

I have direct tv stream and ballys comes with it, but ballys charging $20 for their service is just laughable. Their regular TV coverage is as bad as any coverage I've ever watched, I can't imagine how bad their streaming service will be.

I wish it was just 75 miles. I had PS Vue for a while, which was awesome, as we got every game. When it went under, switched to YTtv and tried to get League pass to watch the Pels. But since I live in Lake Charles, I was blacked out of both NO and Houston games. So incredibly dumb to keep eyes away from your product like that
