Would y'all rather have Mclemore or trade the pick to someone who is willing to give up a nice amount for him
all depends what that nice amount is

you want to find the minutes for Mac if you draft him, but at what cost?

At the cost of Brian Roberts, Roger Mason and Vasquez' minutes. Shift Rivers to full time backup PG. If McLemore is the primary backup at SG you should be able to get him 15 MPG there and maybe 3-5 MPG at SF. That should be plenty for developmental purposes this season. And that's not counting the time that Gordon will miss to injury.

Is Mason even coming back?

We've got Bird or Early Bird rights to Aminu, Xavier Henry, Mason, and Louis Amundson, but I don't know if we're resigning any of them.

I've read through the thread and don't have much to contribute that wasn't already said, so I'll just quote this
quote:

Orlando has locked into Trey Burke according to a league source

and do this:

I think it's unlikely, but just giving people an idea of where the minutes will come from.

Time to revisit the Gordon to Suns trade. It cannot be official until mid-July, but Pels should be all-in if McClemore falls to #5. Then they have options at #6 depending on who is left.

No fricking way the Suns trade 5 for an injured Eric Gordon.

Can't see McLemore getting past Phoenix.

Monty said he should be 100% to start the season. Hopefully potential trade partners forget that the same thing was said last year.

They wanted him last season coming off of injury. Apparently he's coming along with the trainers in LA. If Phoenix doesn't like what they see in McLemore, they could try at EG again.

Let's talk about the teams in between Orlando and us and if they would take him: Washington Charlotte Phoenix Why wouldn't any of those teams take McLemore? Washington just drafted Beal and have Wall, so I can agree there. But Charlotte and Phoenix?

I think it all depends on who's available. Like you said, Washington won't take him.

From everything that has been said, Charlotte wants a big. Noel, Len, or Bennett. They could go McLemore but if any of those guys are still available I'm not sure they would pass on them for McLemore.

I could definitely see Phoenix taking him, but his workout in Phoenix was supposedly very bad, and that has to mean something to the Suns.

One reason Phoenix might say no to McLemore is if he does have an attitude problem. Remember they already have Beasley on their roster. I'm not saying McLemore is a knucklehead, but Washington already showed us that putting a bunch of knuckleheads together doesn't end well.

We need to also look at the prospect of Oladipo falling to us. The draft looks like it could player out as
1. Len
2. Burke
3. Porter
4. Noel
5. McLemore

I like both McLemore and Dipo a lot as they both provide something we desperately need. McLemore with shooting and Dipo with his feisty attitude and perimeter defense. I happen to think both would fit better than most with this team. If we do get McLemore or even Dipo. I would try to grab Iggy as a mentor to one.

George averaged more points at Fresno State, but McLemore's shooting percentages are for the most part significantly higher.

Suns board as in fans? Or GM? Because Pelicans fans love and want Burke. Doesn't mean Dell absolutely loves him and wants him.

There are some quotes that their FO loved Oladipo's workouts and thought he was "explosive".

Wouldn't doubt it. I also heard that the Suns GM won't pass on McLemore at 5. It's all over the place. Lol. All I'm hoping for is Burke to go 2nd and shake things up.

So if Oladipo Falls to us at 6 and we draft him....what do we do? With Gordon specifically.

Trade him for a 3?
