Pelicans got eviscerated on Undisputed this morning

Skip and Shannon are on vacation I think, so its Chris Broussard, LaVar Arrington, and some yappy motherfricker they keep calling "J Mac".
Well J Mac just went off on the Pelicans organization, calling Gayle cheap for never paying the luxury tax, how we lost Lonzo and downgraded to a worse PG, and how Zion will be a Knick in 2-3 years. Went as far as to call us a dumpster fire of on organization and how Griff is driving us into the ground with terrible move after terrible move.
Broussard at least tried to be a voice of reason and said we have to wait and see how it all plays out, but J Mac was salivating at Zion joining the Knicks.
frick that entitled organization and its fans. Also we weren't making the playoffs with Lonzo, so we should have paid him $20 million a year to also not make the playoffs? Just damned if you do, damned if you don't.

They’ll always push their narrative for the big markets. Hopefully Zion can be our Giannis and prove another small market team can win.

There has never been a media coordination to target a player to force him to change franchises like what we're seeing right now with Zion.
It has become utterly INSANE. They really are just trying to force a toxicity that creates the "first player to ever decline the rookie max" storyline in a year or 2.

The funny thing about all this is I’m pretty sure that the only “star” level player that declined his rookie max extension to force his way out in the last 20 years is Porzingis leaving the fricking Knicks, the same team that theyre so sure Zion will go to. It’s even more hilarious that they’ll bag on the Pels ownership in the same breath as saying Zion should go to a team owned by fricking James Dolan.

Yeah because Giannis won in his second year.
Zion was the most dominant player last year.
Let him have his time to still learn the game and be even better.
If we can get more BI/ZION plays with respectable shooters. Let's watch Zion average 30 this season and BI 26.

Yeah Simmons' tweet was legit unethical for a media member. He can hide behind the "I'm a content creator not a part of the media" bullshite all he wants, but that was legitimately fricked up.

Plus Lonzo didn’t want to be here. We’ve seen what a la k of motivation can do for ones performance, e.g The two Eric’s….The first one being Gordon, for anyone that’s somewhat new to the Pels

J Mac comes from Broussard's show. Dude sucks....and is kinda an example of this new thing with radio and podcasts where they ask the damn engineer questions. Like are here for J Macs opinion or something.

For all the Zion to the Knicks talk, there is 0 talk about how Thibs will grind Zion’s knees into dust playing him 39 minutes a game.

I think they are speaking more toward Zions attitude and mentality. Maybe that will change but banking on him thinking and acting like Giannis is not likely. Giannis is a different dude especially in this day and age of the NBA
