You are not getting Kris Middleton or Jae Crowder for a mid first round pick
Khris Middleton is probably the easiest contributing player to acquire

I'd give them 2 firsts, Moore and Diallo for Middleton. Not sure if the Bucks would consider that though.

2 first moore AND Diallo? nah, i'd probably do that minus Diallo, but i was talking about the easiest to acquire in the game.

Our problem is for us to get a legit guy like that, we are going to have to give away a young asset, and the only one we have is Diallo, and he hasn't proven anything yet.
The Bucks aren't letting Middleton go for nothing, and if i were them I woudln't trade him.
A lineup of Brogdon, Middleton, Snell, Giannis, Henson, is a very tall, long, quick, great defensive lineup, with Brogdon/Middleton/Snell shooting 40% from 3, and they still have Parker, Maker, Monroe, Teletovic and Delladova on the bench.
They should be very good, and should only get better with time considering how young they all are. They have an abundance of 6'8 very athletic good shooting SF's, which is never a bad thing.

If we are going to trade this pick - why not do it now.

quote:And this matters why? Teams do not make trades to appease the "writers."
Every writer apart from Matt Moore thinks that Pels won't work. Some others doubt.
ESPN writers, Chris Mannix on his last pod with O 'Connor from Ringer are bashing this organisation.

Sometimes yes. Sometimes not. It is all about perception.
I am not saying trade it now. Especially when this roster is set. Just valuewise is smart to do it around the start of the season.
The best time to upgrade will be around deadline.
Forget about teams who are supposed to win this year. Middleton is untouchable unless you are sending all star back. Also Parker is injured.
Look for type Bledsoe from the franchises not interested in winning this year.

off topic but not threadworthy...grizz just gave away Troy Daniels AND a 2nd for a fake second. too bad we didn't have the 3.5MM room

he's a volume 3pt shooter with a decent hit rate
he's perfect for 10-12 minutes of shooting

Asik is now known to have serious health issue with implications for joints, back, and worsens with stress. He will be gone by feb11, date of his last game. Dude is history. So no bribing teams to take his salary and Pels draft pick.
Sorry for him. Glad for pels. That pick is going be a player we are happy about for years.
"Stop trading picks".
For example, kevin knox, 6 8 freshman going to uk wildcats this fall is projected middle of first round, #18 overall, to new orleans. Athletic, serious defense, smooth mid range jumper, decent handle for size and a year from pro ball. Patience is a virtue.
