so im with cgrand here. this is a results thing. people are upset at a loss and want to bitch. the Warriors are just better. Pels played hard and showed well, but they are outclassed on the court, sideline, front office, and owners box.
Asik v Green at the 5 is a disaster. we just saw the Warriors run slow 5s off the court for a season. and we know how they treat players who bring nothing on offense. Perhaps he holds it together last night, but it is not a winning strategy. acting like they blew it by not playing him v small lineups is silly. he doesn't have the skill set to make their small lineup pay
the space thing there is a lark. that picture shows exactly what we should want with spacing- 2 players behind the 3 point line with no defender within 10 feet. Davis has to find the open man when a defense collapses like that.
now, we can argue that the Warriors will be happy letting those guys shoot.but that's on talent, not scheme

Put Asik on Draymond if they stay small and dare him to shoot from 3.
so what about the Curry/Green on ball screens? how do they defend those with Asik at the FT line?

I do think attacking the Warriors big when they go small makes a lot of sense.
But you need mobile bigs like Adams or Thompson or Ibaka or Aldridge. Guys who can move well enough defensively on the perimeter and crash the glass on offense. Asik just isn't that type of guy

I'm not sure why Cunningham and Ajinca are still on an NBA roster

This isn't a 1 game issue, though. It's systemic.

I would like to see Jones more than Cunningham. I like the line up with AD at the 5 and Jones at the 4. Then bring Asik in when we need a big.
I really like Cunningham and his hustle and effort, but when Curry gets a rebound over you and you are the 4 that is an issue.
I also wish Hill would stop trying the floater or jump shot on the fast break when we do not have numbers.
I feel like this team that everybody is trying to be the #2 guy and not play their role.
Nice to see Buddy doing ok. He was guarded by some of the best last night.
