What I mean is:

You don't go after a coach) just to appease someone(even if it's AD).

You go after the guy that is the best candidate. AD wouldn't give 2 shits who it is as long as he's winning(see GS)

It just smells of a bad idea.

I agree . . . I think. But the winning and team chemistry/camaraderie (even if purely professionally) has to happen in a hurry. I have these nightmares of AD thinking about going home to Chicago.
