for a good chunk of the season we had 2 starting caliber guys come off the bench, while we rolled with 2 bench guys (out of necessity half the time) with the starting unit.

I don't think you should take any stats from this season and analyze them or think anything about them. Nothing positive happened, everyone needs to improve. What you may think was positive, is probably fools gold b/c of how bad the team was.

I think seeing Ish and Frazier run the offense well was positive. It says to me we need QPons more than Tyrekes. If you can get a QPon as talented as a Tyreke, great, but we can probably make some seemingly underwhelming moves that will pay off this offseason. I also am intrigued with how well BDJ and Ennis shot the 3. Both were bad 3 point shooters prior to their short stints in NOLA. Were they just on a hot streak like Cole, or did we get some young players who previously had more athleticism than basketball skill but now are starting to figure things out? It's probably just a short term hot streak, but if it isn't it will help make up for some of the squandered draft picks.

Absolutely

We had plenty of depth, but our top end talent was extremely ill-fitted and oft-injured.

but we didn't win when they played with the good players, and who cares what they did with the bench players.

I just don't want to put any stock into anything that happened this year, even though i agree they both looked good.

I think our bench stats were skewed this year because we have 2 starters coming off the bench.

I mean we would start 10 day guys over people making 8 figures.
