Wtff
Low percentage fadeaways while the other team attacks and gets to the line.

This team has no basketball IQ.

Dumb. And it starts with the coach and "stars".

Pels always go for the contested low percentage shot in the last 2 minutes of a game. Meanwhile, opponents get to the hoop or take open shots because their coach can actually scheme plays.

I’m gonna be so disappointed if he isn’t sent to another team by the deadline. He’s hamstringing the team and he’s set to get a fat payday in a year. This team would 100% be better without him and his shitty shot selection. Every single game our last 2 minute offense revolves around his garbage contested fade away midrange shots.

Those aren’t bad shots for him normally. Wasn’t his night tonight.

The question becomes why is Willie ok with him taking those shots? Any other coach would be like wtf is that???

There’s a big difference between an open mid range shot from 12-14 feet and a contested fade away from 16-18 feet.

They are bad shots period in the current NBA. Just because he makes them at a higher rate than the average doesn’t make it a good shot.

What???? A baseline fadeaways from three feet inside the line is probably the worst shot in basketball

The Pels were playing 4 on 5 on offense with JRE out there. Nobody was getting to the rim in crunch time.

Willie shouldve gone small and put trey at the 5. He at least has length that would bother sengeun

That baseline fadeaways should result in a fine every time he takes it

Sengun would've just backed Trey down the same way he did JRE or got him in foul trouble the same way he got Jonas.

But Sengun would also have to defend

Trey would've just passed the ball to Dyson.

He was way too passive.

And you would at least not be playing 4 on 5 on offense.

all of those shots were bad shots. No ball movement. Just iso dribbling into a fadeaway contested middy is not good basketball

No one else outside of zion was making shots. It's not just Ingram. When your teammates aren't a threat it's hard to score period. Rox have a good defense and length.

Zion turned the ball over three times in the last 3 minutes and wasnt able to get a shot off despite the ball being in his hands almost every possession.

But sure let’s get mad at BI for trying to bail the team out with decent looks at mid range shots late in the shot clock.

Oh for me it’s the coaching. Willie is more than okay with this style of closing out games. We constantly keep doing it.

the baseline one wasn’t terrible. But the one near the free throw line was atrocious. Even sunshine pumping Antonio Daniels was saying how that was bad shots from BI

Defense first even if it means we lose and he gets fired. Its his philosophy.
