@Espngreeny: There aren't five basketball players in the world I'd rather have than Anthony Davis. There may not be three.

Apparently Coach K was raving about him this AM on SC too according to DeShazier

The only two I am taking over AD are LeBron and KD. No one else is even close to being as valuable as AD.

Very interesting that he'd argue that he wouldn't take three guys over AD. I guess some people gotta jump on that bandwagon ASAP.

I don't think it's a bandwagon thing, but I guess everything is bandwagon with you.

As he continues to improve and get more exposure more and more people will just realize that he is indeed a monster.

That is so far from "very interesting."

LeBron and KD, sure. I'm not sure who else I'd consider taking before AD. Maybe fans of other teams can shed some insight (I'm probably biased).

that's pretty much it.

Most superstars are old.
Derrick Rose has played in 50 games the last 3 years
Cousins and Drummond are pretty one dimensional.
Wiggins is a few years from being great at best

AD, James, and KD really are the face of the NBA for the next 5 years at least.

Melo could be argued for #3.

you would probably get some arguments for Love and Curry, but I agree with you... its KD, Lebron and AD at the top

What a fall from grace for Melo. that's one case of a forced trade totally blowing up in the players face.

if only that exhibition game took place before the schedule was released. we would probably have twice the amount of nationally televised games that we have now

I wouldn't put any stock into anything Mike Greenburg says about sports.
he's an idiot media type that says things to get ratings.

that being said, i would agree with the statement.
