He opens up the paint for Zion. Favors is good but he can't shoot and clogs up the paint.

Myles Turner on this team would make up a top 4 squad in the west

I don’t know about all that but there’s going to be times where Zion/Ingram and 3 guards ain’t gonna cut it to close out a game defensively. They were pushing em around with ease. Need a 5 you can close the game with when necessary. Obviously those guys don’t grow on trees.

I think our best lineup will be zo, jrue, big, Zion, Melli.

Second best will be swapping Melli for Hart/jj. If you want to lose some offensive production for defense you take hart over jj.

I wish Melli would learn that he doesn’t need to stand 5 feet behind the arc to take 3’s.

He made some big defensive plays near the basket last night though.

Melli got one block on Adams I believe in the second half that I wouldn't have thought he would have made in a million years.

I think "big" was just an autocorrect of BI.

Melli simply cannot guard elite 4's/5's for significant stretches of a game. He is a specialist. Stretch 4 with a 3ball. If his shot is not falling, he is a liability.

He is better suited to come off the bench as a backup 4 and his minutes would be dictated by what is more needed in a particular game. If defense is needed, he sits.. If offense and more spacing is needed, he plays. That simple.

He is NOT a starter... Let's not kidd ourselves.
