Barring something unusual, is this not one hell of a core of young players that seem to have a perfect combination of styles? In one off season you get a pure point, a scorer at the SG and a versatile big who loves to run the court meshing perfectly with Marshall.

My hesitance in drafting Marshall is that we are very short on guys who can score and Marshall couldn't hit water if he fell out of a boat.

If we find a way to get more offense out of the 3 or 5, now that Ariza and Oak are gone, I could see taking him.

I don't want Marshall. He can't score. We can't score as a team.

The last thing we need is more guys that can't score for shite.

I understand the scoring liabilty but I just love this kids size and bball IQ, forgive me I'm old school at point. What scorer in this draft do you guys like at 10? Do you want to re sign Gordon at SG or take a shooting guard at 10? I'm not sold on scorers at 10.

I'd go Lillard, Rivers, Lamb and Ross at Guard/wing before Marshall. Id also take a big like Leonard or Drummond. Even Zeller before him.

While the game has definitely evolved beyond that, its still ok to have an old school point...

If you have multiple, varied scoring options. We don't.

We are drafting a C at 10.

Jack/Vazquez is a good stopgap at PG right now.

We need bigs.

If Drummond is there at 10, you HAVE to roll the dice on him. If he pans out, you are set in the frontcourt for 10 plus years with both he and Davis not even 20 yet.

If Drummond is gone before then, go Meyers Leonard.

If he is gone, go for Lillard or trade down a couple of spots for Zeller.
