I've been watching this team a long time. Had some high hopes. This season seems shittier than the ones between post-CP/pre-AD.

This is terrible basketball. I had moderate to high hopes. It's getting a little tough to watch.

Sons. This is bad.

Weird time to post this considering that we've played really well the past two games.

Did you see who we had on the floor playing all the minutes?

I'm actually impressed with how our "bench" players played as starters.

Sons, our D league all star destroyers are ready. Once our talent comes back, we know just how good our bench guys can be.. But it's gonna be okay mon

Posts like these make it really obvious who actually watches and who just merely has an uninformed opinion.

Look, Im a sunshine pumper with the best of them... an eternal optimist. But in a season where there was real expectations, this is crushing. I waited all summer for this? I was all #fireMonty for a guy who just runs every player on our roster into injury land? I've sat through many a season of shitty Hornets basketball and was thinking we'd be contending for a 3rd or 4th seed this season. Now it's starting to dawn on me that we're wasting another year of the greatest player this franchise is gonna know, while he bides time until free agency. D league players or not; uninformed opinion or not, this sucks. We went from beating OKC out for the last spot in the West. Both teams fired coaches for not meeting expectations. They're moves paid off, ours looks like it didn't. That's some bullshite. That's all I'm saying.

New system and the whole team is injured. It's not a difficult concept to grasp.

Probably because he doesn't watch. He just looks at the score/record and spews out BS from that

You are aware that Anthony Davis DID NOT play last night correct?

When is the last time this team has played together healthy as a whole team for any considerable amount of time? Yeah that's what I thought! Ain't going to happen this year either! This team is and has been injury prone.

Our bench is going to have so much experience heading into the second half of the year. The starters will be so fresh. Optimism.

You're ignoring the fact they have Westbrook/KD

I watched the entire game last night. Saw the lead slip away in the 4th. Part of my frustration. Maybe you didn't watch but I sure as hell did.

Wow, so stupid.

We almost beat a team that won 60 games last night with out 4 or 5 of our best players.

If you watched you should be excited about the wide open shots we got all night.

I'm very excited about the rest of the season.
We get to see guys playing for their NBA lives and for our team. This team plays hard.

When the meat of the lineup comes back, we will make a playoff push as OKC did last year, will be very close. I think we sneak in.

Yes, I am aware of this. But would it have mattered if he did?

I'm waiting for EG and Ryno to be injured again just as Cole and Tyreke are back so more of these "But, you guys - injuries!" excuses can stay fresh.

injuries to all of your best players is not an excuse it is a reason.

Take Clay Thompson, Harrison Barns, Livingston, Iggy off the GS and see how good they are.

I think they have played really well the past two games. The defense is picking up, we are still giving up to much but you can see they are getting more comfortable with the system. I just hope we are not to far behind once we get healthy

Well AD dropped 43 on them less than a week ago. What do you think?

So we'd have definitely gotten the win with him there, right? So that's an "Almost Win".

The greatest bench guys and D-leaguers making noise and building for a late season run and blah blah blah. This is bullshite. We need some fricking wins.

How many games is the status quo willing to give Alvin?

The only reason the Pelicans made the playoffs last year is because of catastrophic injuries to Durant, Westbrook, and Ibaka. Their "move" was having their best players return to full health (except Durant's hamstring now). Viola, they are a title contender again! GENIUS coaching....

Billy Donovan has done almost nothing to prove he is an upgrade over Brooks, who was winning 60+ games with a healthy roster.
