There's a reason it's been around for centuries. It is, to my mind, the most recognizable symbol of an American city, moreso than the Big Apple and others of that ilk.

It never gets old and played to me.

ETA: The city's basketball team is more than "somewhat related" to NOLA.

The website is stating that the primary color is blue. The secondary color is gold. The tertiary color is red. They haven't thrown any fancy color shade names out there like "Creole Blue."

No shite. It's a small element of the main logo and one secondary logo, and used once on its own.

By all means, let's complain about the actual symbol of the city of New Orleans being used in the graphic design of the city of New Orleans' basketball team.
