Optimistic view: let's take these next 1-2 weeks to build a lead on the 8th spot. Let Westbrook takes as many shots as he wants. He is going to have a cold night and the NBA will laugh arm im for making 7 shots on 33 attempts no turning the ball over six times. It might not be as drastic as missing 26 shots, but he will look horrible at least once in the next few games.

You want me to set your expectations high so when they aren't met you are more angry? Sure, I got you. Kevin Durant is back, the thunder are gonna lose out and the Pelicans will easily make the playoffs. That is a 100% fact, the Pelicans are making the playoffs and nobody can say they aren't, no matter what. If you say the Pels aren't making it then you are not a true fan. There I said it. Get your hopes up, so it's more painful when they don't make it.
