Young SF that still needs a home. Played with the Clippers last year but they added 3 players that play the same position so there's no way he returns. Still only 25 years old.
He played decent in Denver's uptempo offense, averaging 4.4, 5.2, and 6.7 ppg. His 3 pt % wasn't the best though. I've heard his name being brought up several times here and over at Pelicans Report. Def needs to get a camp invite and I can see us giving him a 1 year minimum deal after we lock in Cole.
Really would be ideal for depth and insurance in case Quincy, Dante, or Luke B miss any time with injuries. Also could get him PT and if he plays well he would be a good trade chip to throw in come February. I know, insignificant for the most part but thoughts?

Oh wow, nice. It just makes sense. He fits the mold of a SF type we are looking for and he's a young vet which are the type of players Dell goes after anyways. Couldn't hurt to give him a run in preseason and then go from there but I think he would make the team.
He's got a quick little trigger from deep and that would be fun to watch him trailing the floor on fast breaks and draining 3's

Would he?

Pondexter
Gee
Cunnigham
Tyreke

They probably already see 4 guys getting minutes at SF. Maybe they take him on has a reclamation project, but I'm not sure SF is a need other than needing to upgrade the starter.

There's a reason a young guy with talent can't get a steady roster spot on any team. He's a H~E~A~D~C~A~S~E. Traded twice, waived three times in four years. I like his on court play as much as the next guy, but all the NBA beat guys for the five teams he's been with say he's simply not a professional. Let's be honest, the kid's from Compton, CA...he's got issues.

I agree and see what you're saying. I don't see us getting any pg after we resign Cole, so the 2 positions we are looking at for the last spot are a center who will actually see the floor( not Perkins) and a SG/SF, both of which Hamilton can play.

I think our new coaching staff is ideal for dealing with players like him, same with the Clippers. The other teams he played for were a mess to begin with. He's not Michael Beasley that's for sure, but if he is really that big of a problem (I didn't think he was) then yeah I would stay away.

I'd rather we try to get Terrence Ross or something.

Lol with what $? He would be a good fit for the team but we'd have to trade ryno or Reke to get him.

No we need a 5th guard

There's zero center minutes to go around with AD/Asik/Ajinca. If they want to kick the tires with a TC invite(on Hamilton) then by all means.

Why have goals if they're not lofty, right? What would we pay him with though?

Isn't Tayshaun Prince from Compton, too? That's pretty irrelevant.
