We have a couple of good candidates:

-Gordon signing
-Drafting Rivers
-Getting rid of Lopez and Vasquez
-Singing Tyreke

For me it has to be the Reek signing by a landslide. Just curious what the rest of the board feels about the moves.

Not signing and trading Gordon, no doubt. Turn Gordon into Gortat or Jared Dudley and 1st and everything is different.

No one saw this shite happening with Gordon. If you recall, most everyone on this board wanted us to match PHX.

From what I remember it was about a 50/50 split. There was quite a bit of dissent over resigning Gordon, and I say that as someone who was for keeping him at the time.

It's hard to name one because they all have been pretty bad except for the Ryno and Asik acquisitions

CP3 trade
Jrue acquisition
Evans acquisition
Keeping gordon

Maybe so, I just remember everyone still in Gordon's camp then.

Gordon was the main piece of the CP trade and it would've looked foolish if we let him walk after 1 year.

Signing Tyreke made no sense from the start.

But Tyreke 1) shouldn't be as untradable as Gordon has been with his declining deal and being relatively productive, and 2) will not see his value drop as much. If we had S&Ted Gordon to Houston we probably could have gotten the assets that ended up becoming James Harden. Now we can't even pay someone to take him off our hands. It's crazy how much value Gordon has lost. He's basically a repeat of the Peja contract only he ends early enough that we might be able to recover from it to keep AD.

I don't think that was necessarily a bad move

I think at worst is was a so-so move. Maybe even a pretty decent one.

I can understand the rationale behind rivers Gordon and holiday, but I think Evans was a dumbass move. I think he acquired him to have a trade chip but instead we have another untradeable contract.

It's between these two, although you should have included an option for Monty staying. Most of the problems originate from his terrible coaching. He's single handily ruining quality players.

I don't think his contract is untradable.

Far worse players/contracts have been traded.

in hindsight, the Gordon signing, but no one in their right mind was saying that we shouldn't have matched.
