He may not be here past January, but for now he is the league leader in Assists.

He can penetrate and dish. Shot a lot better than I expected.

I'll just say I'll be looking forward to Jrue being back for size and Defense.

I understand it was one game, so expectations should be tempered but I think he's a guy that can stick. I was impressed with his game before he arrived. He fits the offense and can be a good defender on the perimeter which is needed. He could be a guy to hang on to after Cole makes his way to the Cavs next offseason. They have similar skill sets in my opinion.

There was one play in the first half where there was a loose ball and it looked like guys were walking in slow motion to the ball and out of nowhere, here comes Ish in the blink of an eye to get it.

His defense is what really stood out to me. He may not have put up phenomenal defensive stats but he would stick to his guy like glue. Looked like Tony Allen out there. Monty would have fricking loved this guy.

He jumped the passing on back to back possessions, and picked the guys pocket a few possessions after

And he's got the effort part down. No one is shutting doen GS on offense. Of course his size will hinder his defense against bigger guards but what can you do

The fact that he had a +5 in 38 minutes considering how lopsided most of the game was impresses me, especially if you consider the 2 guard lineups we occasionally ran with him and nate. Those defensive possessions reminded me of hickey and stringer at lsu a few years ago, when teams would just shoot right over their heads.
