Hardwood Paroxysm Trade Idea

Deals with Jrue, Omer, and some really interesting other players. At first glance, I think it makes us better immediately. What say you, Pels Talk?

I assume we'd be tossing in our first rd pick with that trade. Don't really see the benefit from Boston's side.

I just want lottery picks for this upcoming draft. I know it's extremely unlikely but I want to dream dammit

Boston would never do that.

If you somehow swap vucevic and biyombo, Boston might do that.

No way in hell Boston does that deal. Too lopsided in our favor.

The only way this deal is bad for Boston is if they don't want to pay the going rate for a limited rim protector. Considering Moore is locked in and Bradley is about to get a new deal, that's a fair trade to possibly a positive if Bradley's defense is as bad this year as Matt Moore is claiming.

Assuming rim protector was a goal of Boston's and Moore/Bradley are close enough to equivalent, what better rim protector are they going to get for the low price of Jerebko and Tyler Zeller? They could give up a pick for Noel, maybe that's a better move but that's also opening up the piggy bank and not using your current scraps.

I think the Pels are the one that say no here if they have to give up a pick. I'm not saying they aren't getting value back, but that's putting a lot of faith in Payton to become the PG they need.
