Monty is not the problem
The problem is I still would not favor them over a healthy Celtics/Bucks.
Giannis/Middleton/Jrue + some of the best depth/complimentary role players in the league >>>> Durant/Booker/Emo Ayton/Geriatric CP3 + No Depth
Repeat for Celtics.
It's also a huge role of the dice if KD and CP can even remain healthy into the playoffs.

They get better on offense for sure. But, they could already score. Bridges is a good offensive player and the best wing defender they had. They will lose their best defensive stopper, IMO. They will be better overall, but I still wouldn't favor them to get out of the West.

Ayton was already not happy to be a less featured piece of the offense behind Booker and CP3. And they just added Durant into the mix
I can see Ayton completely checking out again, which fricks Phoenix given their depth issues.
