He isn't laughably wrong. The Saints blew donkey dick this year and have little flexibility.

They have to be creative but there are a lot of options.

Me? If it gets Monty and Dell out of NOLA I'm for the bottom out theory

Ditto. They are the majority of the problem, especially Demps. Monty has been given a very confusing roster to work with, but it doesn't help that he can't coach them to at least make them seem decent.

I'd like to see what a coach that likes to run(karl) can do with this team.

Would anyone complain about the roster if we had Karl right now and be like 20-15 or better?

Exactly, I feel like the last thing monty supporters have is blaming the roster, but there are so many problems with Monty that have nothing to do with which players are on the floor

Why would you need to lose games to trade Rivers, when he is a free agent at the end of the year.

And Mickey is just a number guys for the Pelicans.

times like this makes me wish we had a NHL team to fall back on but they would probably suck too

Nope. And you know what, Karl took the job mid-season in Denver his first year 2004-2005 after two bad coaches before him that same season.

They finished 32-8 (40 games), started 17-25, ended up 49-33

Their players who played 1000+ minutes
Carmelo Anthony
Ander Miller
Kenyon Martin
Marcus Camby
Earl Boykins
Nene Hilario
Greg Buckner
DerMarr Johnson
Bryon Russell

16th ortg
8th drtg

In his Denver tenure, his worst drtg team was the year after melo (finished 20th) and they still went 38-28 which is equivalent to 47 wins in an 82 game season. 44 wins was the lowest he had in his tenure there for a full season

2004: 32-8
2005: 44-38
2006: 45-37
2007: 50-32
2008: 54-28
2009: 53-29
2010: 50-32
2011: 38-28 (no melo)
2012: 57-25

2013: 36-46 (Brian Shaw HC)

Nice to see you're living in fantasy world. I bet the champagne tastes like candy and the line at the buffett is always short. I bet the women have three breasts and all want to sex you all the time. I bet your kids are all child prodigies and you are a trillionaire who doesn't even have to work anymore, but plays golf and sails a yacht all year...

Snap back to reality bro. I want some of what you're smoking if you think the scenario you mentioned is even remotely possible.

Golden state got hell for that move, but it turned out to be pretty brilliant.

There are some people that are still holding out hope that we could get something of value for Rivers. At this point, his biggest value is as an expiring contract to pair with a future pick.
