I'm sure Tyrus would be involved with that trade. Monty would LOVE him!

He is 19, 222, but he has the frame to put on a more weight. He could easily grow more too i am not saying he will be 7 feet, but it isn't inconceivable that he could grow to 6' 11"

Kevin durant was around 210-215 in college and now he's 235. I wasnt around to know Patrick ewing's weight in college but he looked skinny as frick coming out too and he filled out. Plus the guy is only 19. He will put on his man muscle then plus some. I could see him being 6'11 240 easily

No way he is going to be the next Tim Duncan. He is way to thin and he will almost certainly get tossed around in the league his first couple of years.

David is not just a defensive player, kids 19 and already has a consistent hook shot that you can't stop, can shoot free throws, can shoot decently from mid-range, however he's 19 so he will only improve...I think he will eventually be like a KG

I'm a Trob fan though also, woulda not minded having to pick him if we got the second pick

Davis is not a "sure fire" center. Maybe at forward, but at center he's a project that could either be the next Tim Duncan or the next Sam Bowie

His teeth and unibrow also don't give him a very marketable face for a franchise.

He is at least the next Marcus Camby. I just don't see how he's any worse than that. That means his floor is a quasi All Star caliber player. Other than Drummond, who will probably be BOOM or BUST, everyone else in the top 5 has quasi All Star as their ceiling. You'd be crazy to not take the guy who's floor is as high as everyone else's ceilings.

went to the Friday practices they had in the dome and watched all of UK's Davis was banging 3's and long ones at that the whole warm-up time. Kids got more offense than you think, it was just that UK being so loaded that he wasnt asked to do that there, and yes I know he didnt shoot well in the championship. Kids gonna be a stud
