Every single New Orleans franchise is stuck in purgatory of mediocrity with no light at the end of the tunnel. Gayle is useless and will do nothing. Griff will continue to run it back with this obviously flawed roster construction and glorified youth pastor head coach. This shite is dead in the water.

She has no idea what to do with these franchises, and essentially GM's of Used Car Dealerships run them at the moment. What is worse; an owner who is pro NOLA but never will push for greatness or an owner from outside NOLA who EXPECTS greatness?

The franchise wanted to take data on this line up and they're getting that data. The flaws seem pretty clear and unless the Pels ball out and make it to the second round of the playoffs, the can they've been kicking down the road will finally come to a stop.
It seems pretty clear already that you can't pay Brandon Ingram $50 million and make him the primary if you want any chance to win a chip. Repurpose those resources to a competent shooting PG who can run the show at crunch time and a switchable, rim-protecting center and live or die with Zion as the foundation. That's just how it is.
