Either way this is all good. We're debating which superstar the Pelicans 20 year old reminds us of. Good place to be.

One guy we haven't mentioned is Amare.

That is almost the perfect comp for Davis on offense. Pick n roll player, face up post threat, can hit a jumper, devastating athletic ability around the rim.

amare started as a B2B guy. his distance game came more into play after he blew out his knee and spent that rehab time extending his game. lucky for us it appears that davis already has good touch up to 20 feet without the need of an ACL tear

I could easily be wrong, but i dont remember young Amare having much of a post game. He may have gotten the ball on the block or close to it, but I remember him facing up and blowing by his man more than any actual b2b moves.

KG player more 5 for the celtics the last few years. Basically ever since Perkins left. But people underrating Dirk bc he hasn't been as good lately with age. But year after championship he had to deal with injuries as well. Dirk would use shot fake and get people in air and go by them over and again. Or just shoot over them.

KG timberwolves comparison is about as close as it gets IMO.
