Exhibit A of why Willie should be fired. Dyson at one point was in the top 5 on ball defenders in the league.

Hawkins got you 35 in one game and you said he's like ray allen Willie.

YOU frickING BENCHED RAY ALLEN WILLIE. frick YOU

Dyson can’t play offense and Hawk can’t play defense.

Both of these apply to the overall team in this series as well

Ok let's play that game.
BI played no O. CJ played no D.
No excuse to not get them more minutes

It’s an indictment of the young players for sure. Hawk is a rookie. Think he had the worst on/off numbers on the team. Hoping he can make a jump next year. Dyson is young, but he’s got two years under his belt. Most likely a bust. Is what it is.

I would understand this if we just lost in a hard fought 6 or 7 game series. But it’s asinine that they didn’t get any real run in a series we got swept in and looked bad in every game. This team’s biggest strength was its depth, we lost our starter minutes all year.

Now, a smart coach would understand that when rotations shorten in the playoffs, having depth gives you an advantage because it allows you to be versatile and adapt when the situation dictates.

Instead of using this advantage, Willie played the same guys every game, emphasizing our weakness.

I love Jose, but he was 4/23 and averaged 2.5 points in this series. You HAVE to play Dyson. There is no excuse for Jose to get 3x as many minutes as Dyson

CJ is one of the worst defenders I’ve seen in the NBA, and when he gets in turnover mode, he will flat out hand the ball to the other team for an easy dunk - usually when Pels are just getting some momentum going.

Hawk played last night and the 4 minutes we saw was enough. He took some ugly ugly shots. The moment looked too big for him. Then the president of the NBPA lead a fast break with a chance to take a 7 point lead, didn't pass the ball, and missed a layup. After which, Oklahoma City went on an 18-2 run. It is what it is. Jordan Hawkins and Dyson Daniels weren't going to make a bit of difference.

Then the front office absolutely can not sell the fan base on draft and the future. Considering 3 of the last 4 first-round picks played a combined 4 minutes in the final game of the season.

The frick he did. He got a kobe assist by being more athletic than half the dudes we trotted out by getting to the rim and pulling jonas man off him and had a 3 go in and out. Ugly shots....gtfoh

I like Dyson, but imagine if Duren, Mark Williams or even Tari Eason was the pick. The FO needs to address needs and quit drafting wings that aren’t going to play.

Neither could CJ or BI this whole series. What’s the worst that could happen?

Terrible take. How do you expect for a shooter to be effective in four minutes? Also, when he was in, his defender was glued to him which open it up more for the other guys.

I remember when we beat Denver with Dyson starting at PG. Not playing Dyson in this series was criminal.
