That's true. When Asik/Davis aren't playing, the rebounding sucks. Probably because they really only play one 6'6" guard at the 3.

Quit hating on people's parade, we know our back up bigs and frankly everyone but AD and Asik aren't known for getting boards, you don't have to be captain obvious all the time, just let people be excited about the team

Tyreke is playing as well as Hayward

what?

Gordon Hayward is averaging 19.4 shooting over 50% and 97% from the line on 4.5 FT attempts per game along with 2 3s a game.6.3 Rebounds and 5.1 assists and a steal to only 2 turnovers a game. Plus he is way bigger and made Lebron look like a bitch when they played.

Thats over an 8 game sample size. In what world is Tyreke playing that well?

Yes Tyreke is off to a slow start while Hayward is off to a hot start, but the context of the quote is calling Tyreke a bad contract when his last year and career PER and Per 36 numbers were better while getting paid about 35% less. The point wasn't Tyreke > Hayward, the point was Tyreke is in the same tier as Hayward and Parsons while making significantly less therefore he's not a bad contract, unlike Eric Gordon who is getting paid significantly more than the 15th men he's competing with productivity wise.

Khris Middleton got another DNP last night. Again, I have no clue if Middleton is someone we'd want to trade for, but if we feel desperate to bring in someone else, and we should, this looks like the first trade opportunity of the season. Too bad we're out of 2nds.

Hayward only has tyreke beat on shooting %s. His range(tyreke) from outside has looked far better.

Tyreke is averaging more assists/rebounds to date.

He's also making nearly 5 mil less too.

Like ATL said it's not tyreke>hayward but in terms of comparable value in contracts.

It's weird. I went to go look, so I could compare the two and you are right. Evans is over Hayward in a lot of categories and they average about the same amount of minutes. But did you see their PER? Hayward is at 24.67 and Evans at 13.96. I don't get how that is possible..

It's because of Hayward shooting nearly 50%(97% FTs) and his somewhat low TOs.

Tyreke hasn't shot all that well but has been very productive.

PER can be somewhat misleading.

They only thing I can think of is that PER factors in usage and Evans' usage rate is a lot higher? I don't know.

The only categories that are way different are fg% and personal fouls. Do those two hold that much influence? In all the rest, Evans is either leading or pretty close..

I might make a thread depicting players usage so far.

I kind of can see it a bit better now. Evans is taking 16.5 shots to get 15.8ppg. Hayward is taking 12.9 to get 19.4ppg. That is a huge difference. Plus when you figure in the FT% difference, it kind of makes more sense..
