Dell Demps, somehow, is still the GM and main decision maker for our NBA team, despite going into his 8th season as GM and only making the playoffs once, and getting swept.

Despite making a great deal to get Boogie, our team is now so salary strapped that we cannot make any moves in Free Agency, even relatively minor ones, because we run the risk of getting hard capped. We are in a dire cap situation this year. Our only hope is to trade a our bum contracts like Omer Asik, Alexis Ajinca, or QPon. Contracts no team will likely take on. Who gave Asik and Ajinca those contracts? Dell Demps.

Let's recap some Dell Demps moves:

Traded 1st round pick (Tobias Harris) for Jerryd Bayless
Drafted Austin Rivers 10th overall
Tyreke Evans, 4/44 contract, had to trade Robin Lopez and Greivis Vasquez to make it work
2 First Round picks for Jrue Holiday
1st Round Pick for Omer Asik
Hired Alvin Gentry as Head Coach
Gives Omer Asik 5year, 58 million dollar contract (43 mill guaranteed)
Gives Alexis Ajinca 4 years, 20 million
Gives Solomon Hill4 years, 48 million

(To be fair, he has made very good moves as well)

And here we are. No ability to add anything of significance to a team with 3 good players but a lot of dogshit after that.

Our only chance is to somehow pull off a trade that gives out junk contracts and gets us back some semblance of an NBA player. That is the corner he has painted us in to.

And he is still the GM.

Fire away.

You promised to keep the other one on the first page. That didn't work out so well.

Keep defending him until the end brother. Do you.

The guy is an abortion of a GM.

Despite all of the mistakes he's made over the years, the only way I see him getting fired is if Cousins walks or Cousins demands it as part of re-signing. His job is in Boogie's hands.

Meh. I was mad about this for a while but I forgive him for this now. Not many selected after Rivers did very much, its the few that went before him that kills me.

I agree with this, his job, unfortunately, depends on Boogie, which is ludicrous given Demps's record and the fact that Coaches and GMs in the NBA are fired constantly.

We are just in a shitty situation this offseason and it is 100% because of the contracts and moves he has made. And if he is able to move these contracts, he will get credit for it despite being the guy to give these shite deals.

He also loved him some Johnny Jones. That should tell you all you need to know.

Well, then it may be in the franchise's best interest if Boogie walks.

That's just crazy talk. They have 2 top 15 talents. The odds of even a great GM amassing that much talent starting from scratch is pretty low.
