We’re playing well and could go 14-5 in our last 19.

With the remaining schedule, if we went 14-5 I’d buy tickets to Denver in late May.

4 would be great. I’m fine with 5 honestly or even 6. As long as we aren’t in that 7-10 range.

T’wolves + - are actually 2 points better without KAT on the floor.

They won’t fall apart.

don’t be surprised if losing KAT is addition by subtraction. you lose a soft ball dominant guy and give the ball to a tough, clutch freak and you have a different team

In the NBA you essentially need at least 2 guys that can/will score 20+ points per night. Without KAT, the Wolves only have one of those dudes.

Sometimes stats don’t tell the truth

There’s no way that the Wolves would be better (or even the same) if you took KAT off of the roster before the season started.

Maybe not when you have elite defense. I’d say they probably have the best defense in the league with KAT off the floor

Ehhh

Do you think we'd be fine if Zion was injured?

We're 6.8 points better this season with Zion off the court.

The more time goes by, the less I trust on/off unless it's something like 3+ years of a trend.

They do statistically have the best defense when KAT is off.

They also have a bottom 5 offense when KAT is off.

Maybe I’m old school, I’ll take the elite defense and trust ANT to carry them. Conley is not a bad playmaker at all either, just a bit older at this stage in his career. I like the TWolves current roster without KAT but I’ll admit they can’t rely on Naz to be their best 3 point shooter. McDaniels has to step up on offense and start hitting some 3’s.
They are honestly built kind of similar to the Pels, main difference is they have that elite rim protecting/rebounding big

Denver 59 wins
OKC 57-58
Minnesota 55
LAC 53-54
PELS 50-52
Sacramento 48
Dallas 48
Phoenix 47-48
LAL 46-47
Golden State 44-45

Dallas and Phoenix will go through the play-in.

Hopefully Denver will not care about seeding and shut down some players for the last few games, so OKC end up 1st.

Think we should be favored in at least half the remaining games. I could see an anywhere between 9-9 and 13-5 finish to the season. Think we slip in at 4 seed.

The Thunder are extremely young and this is the first season they have been anywhere near the playoffs since CP3 was there.

They got to the playin last year. But I agree they could certainly have a hard time in a first round series against the Suns or Mavs or Lakers. Being the first seed in the West is no bargain this year.

Don’t really care where we finish as long as we miss the play in and play the TWolves in the first round
