This is a very small sample size, and BDJ was only a 34% 3 point shooter during his stint in the DLeague and his college career, so if he reverts back to that this thread will be pointless. However, just comparing their stats I'd say they are giving comparable production. Gordon is more of a playmaker but BDJ gets a lot more rebounds. They both aren't very good on defense, and the Spurs were picking on BDJ last night just like we've seen teams pick on Gordon. So I don't think we've found our long term starting SG, but I do think we may have found a Gordon replacement that will be WAY cheaper to keep around.

Per 36 comparison, BDJ on left, EG on right

EG can handle the ball at times. We need a guy who can play with Cole and take the ball out of his hands.

This year Cole can drive the tank, next year he can go be LeBron's water boy. If we want a fast paced chucker, Russ Smith was just ranked as the #1 DLeauge prospect. LINK / Not to mention we currently have 3 draft picks.

If we wanted to go fast pace we should've kept the franchise, ish smith and traded Cole

BDJ is a downgrade, but he is younger, and has some marginal upside potential. (Jay Bilas!) Goes without saying that he is MUCH cheaper.

A 1st round pick may be starting at the 2 for us next year, though. Where is Hield projected? Could Ryno net us a pick high enough to land him? He'd look nice in a Pels uniform.

He's been rising up the boards, currently 17th on Draft Express, but he keeps playing well and just dropped 32 in a win vs Ben Simmons, a game every scout was watching, so I'd expect him to be top 10 by the time the draft rolls around.

I doubt it. If we get a 1st for Ryno I would expect it to come from a definite playoff team, most likely in the 20s.

He is a top 10 pick, so no.

I've seen flashes of good D from BDJ and his hustle is great

He also has about 2 inches on EG

Needs a couple of more shots a game though

BDJ's shot is pretty ugly, but he plays with 10x the amount of effort that Gordon plays with.
