Delon Wright for sure and Gallo would be my two targets if they can now add a guy with the injury exception. If they cannot then it means he may be back for the playoffs.

What sucks is Trey still isn’t himself. Even if he comes back for playoffs who knows what kind of Dyson we get. He was holding his own against lebron by himself before he got hurt.

Just pray Griffin forces Willies hand by bringing in a defensive buyout guy.

This why is Griff is serious he signs a vet in that 8th man role so that forces Willie's hand.

That stinks for Dyson and the Pels.

Given his age I certainly hope they go with whatever the most conservative recovery option is. I hate that he won’t get experience down the stretch and in the playoffs, but I think his minutes were going to shrink in the playoffs this year.

With Dyson hurt and Kira gone we just don’t have a lot of options at PG right now.

CJ and Jose need to stay healthy or we need to get a vet that can handle the ball.

He’s barely logged any minutes the last couple of games with Naji being out. It’s clear Willie doesn’t like him or trust him. I doubt it will change going forward

There probably wasn't two worse matchups for Hawk than both L.A. teams. It isn't all that surprising that he didn't play in those games.

We had a heck of a run of health before this one.

I'd love to think this will get us back to 15-20 minutes of Hawkins nightly, but I know it'll just be 28 minutes of Naji now unfortunately.

In January, Hawkins played 15 games, and on 18mpg averaged 10 points, .630 TS% and a per game +/- of 5.3. I still don't know why we then just moved him out of the rotation entirely. It never made sense.

He was playing well, he was winning his minutes.

It's probably close the time they need to increase Trey's minutes. So I expect it to happen soon.

Yeah, but was not an option. He was always going to Lakers.

I can't help but think, Dyson was supposed to get traded... The basketball gods disapprove of the team's unwillingness to make a necessary trade that would improve this team's playoff chances and matriculation, thereof.

Silver lining, Jose and hopefully J. Hawk increase playing time means better overall scoring potential for the bench unit. Dyson struggled mightly to be consistent offensively. Hopefully, this allows him the ability to mentally see how he can be more effective offensively.

I got some bad news for you...Naji is getting the bulk of those minutes.

Probably a bit more Jose run, but Hawkins will still be glued to the bench most nights for...reasons

I don't understand the Naji hate and detractors... He's confident that he can score and be a positive offensively. Gives good effort on the defensive end as well.

Seems like the same people who hate Naji for his offensive mindset are the same people who loathe Dyson's offensive prowess.

Nobody hates Naji.

They hate the fact that he gets minutes over Dyson and or Hawkins who are core pieces while Naji will off the team next season.

Dyson: playing the best ball of his career

Well played

Issue with Dyson is, since January 1st, he has been shooting better. 51% from the field, 35% from 3.

The problem...he's taking less than 4 shots per game, so even the improved numbers lose a good bit of relevance.

Hawk is going to have to grow up quickly soon. Dyson most likely done for this year unless it’s a minor tear, which of course it won’t be, he will be needed. We are very lucky to have Jose and Naji as guys to fall back on. This team can still achieve its goals but we need 2 things to happen from what i can see.

1. We have to learn how to finish close games.

2. Trey Murphy has to snap out of his shooting slump and be “trigga” again.
