Day of rest. Been pretty hot lately. Playing against a collegiate teammate? Pretty good shot?

35 pts will put him to an even 27 ppg average this year in only his 74th game of his nba career.

Knicks are a pretty solid defensive team with some bigs that could give Zion trouble.

Nerlens has been one of the best big defenders this season

Nerlens has been great this year, but he might be too light in the britches to handle Zion tbh. I’m sure he will get a block or two, but I’m sure Zion will body him more often than not.

Aldridge and Griffin have some weight and savvy to them and the Nets executed a nice defensive strategy. I’m not even sure Zion played bad tbh. We got blown out so badly he barely played. If he played his normal minutes, he probably would’ve figured out a way to score 25 plus on 50% plus shooting, but since we were getting hammered, there was no reason to put him back out there.

Also Zion “shoots” 62%, but it would be more like 77% if he got officiated like the other stars in the league do.

I don’t think Zion has had more than 2-3 average, let alone below average offensive games this season. That’s how much he spoils us with his insane efficiency.
