Put together your best packages to pry either jaylon brown or jayson Tatum away from them.

Is our next two years first round picks enough or is it too much?

1) We aren't trading for a young guy not ready to contribute.

2) Boston isn't trading their young guys for our crap if they didn't want to trade them for George/Butler.

Why wouldn't you trade a draft pick that you're gonna use on a young guy anyways to trade for a young promising prospect? It's not like I said trade Anthony Davis for one of their young guys

Think about Smart and Rozier.
Rest is probably out of our reach

Because they were never going to use the 2018 pick on a young guy. They are in win now mode. Become good enough to convince Cousins to resign this year and AD probably extends and everything is great. Don't convince Cousins to resign and AD probably is out the door not long after Cousins and everything falls apart. a 2018 rookie or a 2nd year player this year will have no bearing on Cousins resigning next summer. Trading that pick for a Bradley or Crowder would.

They can, but would they want to? I mean it wouldn't surprise me if they do just keep everyone.

But moving one of them opens up the chance to create depth at other positions. Plus it just sort of shows goodwill that you are willing to be amenable to role players that have their situations changed on them due to roster circumstances. Instead of just burying them on the bench.

But most importantly, I think when you recognize Ainge's real motivations in life are to acquire every draft pick in the NBA, there is probably some room for prying someone away from them.

I posted in the rumors thread that I think Bradley can be had for Moore and a future first. The big thing is the remaining years on their contracts. Bradley is a starter only signed on for this season, and looking at a likely $17 million per year payday next summer. Moore is a quality role-player locked in for three years on an MLE-level deal. Even if Boston doesn't want Moore, they could easily find a third team willing to take him.

They would have to find a 3rd team to take him as they are trying to clear space.

Their front line players aren't good enough to start trading away talent esp for future picks. They are trying to build to 1st take down Lebron but then Warriors and they need these young guyx

Please, no more trading of draft pick. It kills the fun of everything.

They aren't trading players that were top 3 in their draft for a 10-20 seeded pick.
