Does he at least have value to bring in a free agent?

He had his bright moments. But his basketball iq is too fricking low for us to EVER win a championship with him starting.

I don't even trust him as a 6th man anymore. He just doesn't play winning basketball. He has done an admirable job of playing through injuries and puts up some big stats, but he is bad defensively and doesn't run offense well.

Lets take advantage of a team that thinks he is awesome because of his stats. And let's get rid of ryno while we're at it... far too inconsistent for me

I think Reke needs to go to a team in the East. He would flourish in a ball dominant system that will allow him to attack the basket. We need spacers to open things for AD. When we spread the ball around we are much more effective, and that is not Reke's game, imo.

With his limitations, he'll never do anything in the playoffs. He's too easy to game plan and defend.

Don't think we need to make any major moves this offseason.

I disagree. Gordon, Evans, Anderson needs to go. We need to build this team around Holiday and Davis. No more gathering a collection of players. It's team to build a team.

They're definitely the two untouchables.

Gordon

Keep him if he's going to cost less than his current contract. He's a great shooter that has shown to improve his overall game on both ends of the floor. He's a very solid role player that plays team ball. He tries to find open guys to take shots, finds your bigs down low, and knocks down 3s at a solid rate.

Evans and Anderson cost way too much for the limited production they bring. Trade those two, bring in a solid 3&D SF and you have yourself a solid core of:

Jrue Holiday
Eric Gordon
[insert SF here]
Anthony Davis
Omer Asik

Cole
Pondexter
Cunningham
Ajinca

Trade for a guy like Jeremy Lamb that has potential to be a shooter in limited minutes off the bench.

I love Ryno but I have to agree here. I think if Gordon opted out and we re-signed to a long term deal with less per year that could be a win-win. Move Anderson and Evans for the pieces you need and we could make a run.

I think a team would give up some depth type parts for Reke. If we have any faith in Jrues health, we have to look at it.

I'm definitely looking to make smart deals this summer. I'd move EG, Reke, Anderson and Asik (S&T) for the right deals.

We were 26-17 with Evans running the point

We were 20-19 with Jrue healthy

I don't understand why Evans gets all the hate. He's frustrating at times but he was way more controlled as our PG and our offense played better. Mind you this was without Anderson, too.

If Jrue's last name was Gordon he would be getting a load of hate from our fans. I guess he gets a pass for being injury plagued bc he's affable? Idk. I just don't see how a guy who can't stay on the floor is viewed as so valuable

Gordon opting out? Lol dude wouldn't make what he makes next year in 3 years on a new deal. He isn't going anywhere, and if he plays like he did late in the season, he will be fine. He deserves a lot of credit for our late season push

You're a bit off and those WL records don't say the whole story.

When jrue was healthy we didn't have the depth like Q-pon/Cole and ajinca's emergence. The team also played a much more difficult schedule prior. EG was out as well.

Tyreke did play very well and deserves a great amount of credit(EG too).

Jrue pushes the ball and gets the offense set up quick. Tyreke's biggest problem is he waits till 9 seconds left in the shot clock. Watching norris run the offense also made me realize it even more.

Jrue is much better defensively and it's not even debatable. Tyreke works in his beatdown role off the bench.

If EG can get 25 mil over 3 years versus taking a risk over 1,why SHOULDN'T he consider it.
