Dwayne Wade is one of the best SGs of all time. So no it's very unlikely
Right, name another player who has Wade's game. His skillset is unique and is arguably a top 50 player of all time

you cant teach someone athleticism like that. Its like trying to teach someone to run 4.3 when they run 4.8

Not trolling. Just trying to steer y'all in the direction of reasonable, gentleman-like debate.
You get too frustrated, man.

I see the wall of text, but how does that compare to Wade?
Because everything that is says that Buddy can't go, Wade can.
And asking a player to improve on all of the aspects of his game mentioned above is quite a task. Very few have improved nearly every aspect of their game (something that Buddy would have to do in order to develop into a HOFer like Wade). So is it possible, of course, but there is a better chance of Simmons developing into LeBron, Ingram into Durant, Dunn to John Wall...etc

Dawg, you gotta stop. It is not a realistic comparison. Can't get be klay and be fine? I would take young Ben Gordon though

he thinks its easy to just get much faster, quicker, better ball handles, better finisher at rim, better float game, better euro, better pump fake, and better teeth

Wade has all of this in spades
and then there is his defense, or lack thereof
I am curious what your source is?
I think Wade is a horrible comparison but I also think a lot of those knocks are not fully accurate either.

I like the Roy and especially the Redd ceiling comparisons.
Roy was silk in his prime. I think the skill sets are similar, but Hield is just more jerky in his movements. Not that it matters end result.
Redd makes the most sense. Kudos to whoever came up with that name, especially if they didn't see it on the Internet.

I thought so.
I think he(Mike) misses the mark on a number of analysis when it comes to Buddy.
I like his video breakdowns but he is also a guy that thought Rivers would be the best guard that year, thought Alex Len and Trey Burke would be the best in their class. I have a pretty low trust in his analysis on guards at this point.
Plus some of the knocks like athleticism just don't hold weight when LA is out there reporting how impressed they were with his athleticism and he jumped a 40inch vertical. Defensively he was solid to pretty good his junior and senior year but Mike looked mostly at his senior stuff. The NBATV guys touched on this last night and how he got a bad rap when he was in fact pretty good before his senior season.
His passing numbers look bad but he was not asked to be a creator. if you watch him he makes good decisions in transition, has made some solid passes and even occasionally used the pick and roll. I don't think he will be a 6 assist a game passer but his numbers don't tell the whole story.
Not surprisingly Mike is enamored with the freshman combo guard type this year and likes Murray. Maybe he is right to prefer him but I still don't see it.

At the end of the day, the one thing that I'm certain of and I think that we can all agree on is that he can shoot the hell out of the ball. Something the pels needed desperately.
