Could be a serious piece to the puzzle.

Maybe shop EG OR Asik or a pick or something. Noah is an upgrade over Asik in many ways except clogging the lane because he's to slow to move around.

How could you have watched Noah this year and think (1) he's still got it and (2) he's worth what it will take to get him?

You wouldn't want Noah for Asik and Gordon??

Two solid, relatively young starters for an aging worn out Noah? Not at all.

People hate Asik for his lack of offense...Can you imagine the level of hate Noah would get?

Noah has offense. He had one bad season. He was defensive player of year one year ago. Not at all liability on offense like asik. One year and he's awful player. Tyson chandler would have been kicked out of NBA at least 4 times the way yall think. But he still playing

I mean, he had the same amount of PPG on worse shooting and more turnovers per game than Asik this year. He is absolutely a liability on offense.

This wasn't just an off season, this was the worst PER and per 36 scoring average of his career thanks to injury that has a Thibs sized asterisks next to it. Will he recover in a new system like Deng appears to have done, or is the tread gone?

Noah just turned 30...he his one year older than Asik and was all-nba first team just a season ago.

You think Noah is broken down but Gordon isn't? lol

Is this a serious? The way Noah passes the ball and plays defense, I can't think ,amy better fits next to AD.

And a lot more miles on the odometer. He missed 9 more games than Asik this year and he was godawful offensively post ASB and in the playoffs.

Gordon has had quite a few injuries that have kept him out, but he's looked to be in the best shape of his NOLA career after coming back from the shoulder injury.

I'm just saying, if you can get Noah for that, you take it. He's a lot better than Asik and Gordon isn't worth holding the deal up IMO. You can get other SGs to play the role he plays for a cheaper price tag.

Noah was fourth in MVP voting last year.

It's about if you think he can get back to that, and maintain it for three years, or if you think he's past it.

I wouldn't do it, but I see the reasoning and thinking behind it. He's also a glue guy and loved by teammates.

He has averaged 9.6 ppg in 29.9 mpg for his career, so not really.

Asik averaged more points and rebounds in less minutes this season.

He averages more TO per game than Asik both over his career AND last season.

Noah is a better passer than Asik so I'll give him that on the offensive end. That's about it.

This can't be understated enough. NO needs this more than just about anything else. A Noah / Davis / Holiday team, IIIIFFFFF healthy, is a scary thought out West.

He is 16 months older. Asik also had a higher PER this last year. Asik also costs a fraction of what Noah does, which is a very relevant.

Gordon has more years ahead of him. Also, Gordon for Noah straight up isn't an option, so you'd be giving up 2 solid starters for one solid starter.

There aren't many players in the league that shoot the 3 at the clip he did this past season.

Wait, so you nitpick about the difference in a year and 16 months but then say Asik costs a fraction of what Noah does?

I wouldn't give up Asik and EG just for Noah. Would like a pick back or some other player maybe.
If we had a first, i'd gladly give away Asik and a first for him, but not sure why the Bulls would do that.
