I mean. Seriously. This is awful. Don’t give me shite about the refs. You have to be able to overcome that shite. SHOULD HAVE NEVER BEEN IN THE POSITION TO LET THE REFS EVEN MAKE A DIFFERENCE!!!!

Honestly, and this isn’t just an overreaction to this game, the answer is yes. The offense is so klanky, takes them forever to get into sets in an overtime game. There’s no chemistry.

BI and Zion do not work together.

Build around Murphy and Hawkins.

Could probably get a decent haul for BI and Zion individually.

Zion- bad D, can only drive to rim.

Trey- spot up shooter 95% of time, not good D

Cj- hasn’t been clutch as a vet, avg D

Herb- plays great D, inconsistent on O

JV- limited in athleticism

In short, a lot of players who are not well rounded players.

Tonight- we didn’t get that heavy momentum spike from Naji or Jose. Not including the rest of the disaster and coaching.

Cj needs to initiate offense down the stretch . Zion should only be allowed to dribble hand off in crunch time . His defender just plays centerfield and waits for him at 7 feet . This is a big reason the offense bogs down , especially against teams with length at the rim.

Have to get BI moving before getting the ball . Him walking it up or getting just inside of half court hurts him and the offense . It’s to easy to double him and guard when he has the ball that far out.

The longer this season goes on the more I see us moving on from Zion.

The problem is our best 2 players. BI ain't it with the 21 foot contested fade aways. Zion can't stop turning the ball over
But the "problem" with CJ initiating is Zion. He hasn't learned a single thing in 5 seasons and is useless without the ball in his hands, so the only real chance we have down the stretch is to give the ball to Zion.

I know this sounds extreme but it's true... If our down the stretch offense doesn't go through Zion, then Zion should not play, he should be on the bench down the stretch. He's a net negative on both sides of the ball if he's not initiating the play.

Fully agree on the last point on Zion which is why I say the he will be the odd man out .

If Herb is in Zion’s spot the last 4 minutes , the Pels win . His cutting and IQ probably get us a needed bucket and the defense would have been better . Zion is the worst defender on the NBA .
