Just turning it on in the 4th? Is he hurt?

He is out with an ankle injury. Honestly, whatever.

He became a Pelican. The rest is injury history

At some point they need to address the training staff. Saints and Pelicans always hurt

Yeah it was pretty embarrassing that Luka attempted to play the entire game injured from the jump.

And then Ingram mildly sprained his ankle and never even attempted to play a second through it.

Just kind of shows you the guys who love ball and the guys that don’t. Ingram is the definition a fake love ball and winning guy unfortunately.

Tonight illustrated that perfectly.

He continued playing the rest of the 2nd after rolling it. Most likely the rest at half did him in.

Maybe the ESPN edit was wrong

They showed the play they thought he got injured on, he walked off the court and didn’t play again from what I could tell.

Unless they missed the origin of the injury and showed the wrong play.

BI continued to play, came back after a timeout, when up and down a couple of times, and then subbed out.

Yes, the play they showed on ESPN was not when he rolled it. It was with 3-4 minutes left in the 2nd, you could clearly see it roll and that it was bothering him, but he stuck it out, including after a timeout, for most of the rest of the half.

Yeah, that I’m not buying. Show me a game in the last 5 years Luka hasn’t acted like he’s hurt. You can only cry wolf so damn much.

Got fooled by the way espn framed the injury, my bad. So I might have reacted a bit too strong, but there is still truth in what I said about both players and how they tend to treat their injuries.

FWIW, after the game, David Wesley said it looked like Ingram was already on the mend and that he was walking with only a slightly noticeable limp. He seemed optimistic that BI could be ready to go next game. Of course, he works for the org and is a fan like us so he could be carrying water for the team but all we can do at this point is hope.

I get everyone frustrated with injuries, but I feel like most people would be complaining if he continued to play saying how incompetent they are and that he shouldnt be out there if hes hurt.

He surely was joking around on the bench quit a bit and walking around during timeouts during the 4th.
