Portland is finalizing a trade to send Nic Batum to Charlotte for Noah Vonleh and Gerald Henderson, league sources tell Yahoo.

Might open up another playoff spot as they'll lost at least 2 of Lopez/LMA/Matthews in addition to this.

A long way to go in the offseason with the draft
and Free Agency, but Portland make take a serious step back next year.

I don't know, but it looks like OKC is dumping Lamb to Charlotte as well.

Apparently he gets the Landon Collins treatment in Oregon.

Charlotte is also shopping Cody Zeller. Potential backup 5? I don't know much about his career thus far. Are Withey and Ajinca better?

that dude always tore the hornicans a new one when they played. thank sweet baby Jesus he's heading to the other coast.

Jazz will probably step up big time next year and the thunder as well, but i think the Pels have a legit shot at the 5/6 seed. dallas takes a step back, as do the Spurs.

He's more talented than them

Had an injury that derailed a really solid season that showed good improvement.

Charlotte wants MOAR wings.

I guess us acquiring Zeller would appear to be a long shot?

Yea I think Dallas (unless they land a great player) and Portland take a step back. I keep waiting for the Spurs to finally drop down some notches, but I'm getting tired of it. I'll believe it when I see it. They are the Patriots of the NBA.

The Jazz will be a very interesting team. OKC should be solid once again.

No but they were pissed.
quote:

On Jan. 23, the day before the Bruins-Ducks showdown in Eugene, Love found more than 30 voice-mail messages on his cellphone when UCLA stopped for a layover in San Francisco. He listened to the first one: If you guys win, we'll come to your house and kill your family. He played another: We'll find your hotel room and blow your f------ head off with a shotgun. He didn't bother to check the rest. "I mean, these were death threats," Love says. Shaken, he called his mother, Karen, and had her cancel his cellphone service.

quote:

Stan says his family was pelted with popcorn cartons and empty cups, as well as a barrage of profane insults ("every filthy word you can think of"), including screams of "whores" that made Kevin's grandmother cry. "There were six-year-old kids with signs saying KEVIN LOVE SUCKS," says Stan, who endured a hail of one-finger salutes to snap photographs of the worst signs. "It was the grossest display of humanity I've ever been involved with. To think I'm sitting at the school where I played ball, and just because my kid didn't pick Oregon he gets abused like that? I'll never go back there."

If you carefully study all of the league transactions, you clearly see the pattern of the plan that Stern and Silver put together for the Pelicans (pressure and influence behind the scenes, of course). They are clearing the way for an NBA title in New Orleans. It's so obvious.

I actually like the Spurs and admire the franchise. I mean, Pops is not Belichick and Duncan isn't Brady. I wouldn't be surprised to see them make another serious run at the title. If they do land Aldridge, Spurs staaacked, league fuuucked.
