AD currently has 38. So does Westbrook. Current record is 42 by Wilt Chamberlain.

Edit: Westbrook now has 41 and AD has 52. Record smashed!

They took 3 away from Westbrook and gave the basket to harden. Anthony Davis just set the NBA record for points in an All Star Game.

Huge performance on a huge platform. Now let's go land another star to pair with him.

Wilt's 41 still more impressive though.

You know, when they actually played basketball during the All Star game unlike the Harlem Globetrotters game it is today.

The record books won't remember how hard they play in 50 years.

The record was impressive. That record stood for over 50 years. Which means over 50 years of chances for NBA all stars to break the record. Yet, nobody broke it until our Anthony Davis broke it more than 50 years later. Not Jordan, not Kobe, not LeBron, not Shaq, Curry, etc.

It's a great performance for our signature player. Remember it for that.
