AD has potential to exceed Amare. But for a couple years before injury amare approached hakeem in impact.
AD has not been close to Amare's best years. Amare was a sure thing for a while there.
Health, due diligence (learning moves) may put AD at or above Amare. I certainly thought he would.
I defer on the demps questions. A coach should be working with AD on broadening his game. No telling what he does in off season. Manute Bol never learned a damn thing. Some guys add to their game. Expand. Systematically. Not by having plays run.

So Davis is best playing next to a guy like Tyreke and Gentry is using him wrong while Month used him the right way.

There is something to this. AD and Tyreke are good friends and it is obvious they have great chemistry together.

Tyreke draws so much attention and AD used to eat off his misses. The number of Kobe Assists from Tyreke to AD was insane.

Tyreke isn't all good and he isn't all bad. In a different system, he could be a huge plus. But we don't crash the boards under this coach and this coach wants ball movement.

So Tyreke is not a fit for this coach. But he is unquestionably a talented player and can fit with AD in certain schemes

That stat is correct, but it's also a little misleading because Asik was usually on a he court and the two of them on the court together clog the lane. Ad was better with Tyreke than without last year and that was partly because Asik didn't play as much

You can't have Asik on the court if there are any other below average shooters on the court. Kills the space
