Looks like 185 to me, mate

There are 35's on there too. So that's 205..which..ya know..isn't terribly impressive either
For a guy around 7', it isn't terrible. Also, he is training to play basketball, not bodybuilding. Flexibility is equally important as slow-twitch strength.

There are several NBA players that feel this way, there is some kind of stigma about being listed at 7foot for non-Centers. AD and Kevin Durant are two guys I was told have asked not to be listed at 7foot.
I've heard this a few times before as well. Not sure why, though. IIRC, Duncan is one of those guys as well (listed at 6'11" on nba.com, and the Spurs website).

Then you must not spend much time in a weight room.

That's actually 205, dumbass
My bad. I didn't see the extra plate on the outside. Either way he needs to be putting up more than 185 or 205.

Why?
You think he's maxing out there or something? Come on man.

Jeesh, everyone is so sensitive. A man that size should definitely be working out with more than 205 on a back squat. He doesn't need to be throwing up 400 lbs but he is a professional athlete.

This went so far over your head. He may have repped that out 30-40 times or till failure for endurance purposes. Your statement reflects a person who has never set foot in a gym and knows absolutely nothing about working out.

There is literally no way you can say this. You have some kind of inside info on the reps/sets he was working at?
Posted on 8/27/15 at 3:39 pm to J_Hingle
Incredible. He's big enough to bang with the 5's on a nightly basis. He needs to close out the half and end games at the 5 from here on out. True center on him? Drift out and make it rain. Smaller guy on him? Post-up. Either way, the DJ's/Dwight's and Draymond's/Leonard's are toast. And they know it.

Good he's now one of 50 NBA players who can't be guarded one on one.

You got me dog. I've never set foot in a gym. And if he's doing 30 to 40 reps at 205 he'd be maxing out at like 500 lbs. That is highly doubtful.

Of those 50 players, only one or two are on the 2015 all nba defensive team, as well. Which is nice. Thanks for the further confirmation re AD's dominance.
ETA: 6 or 7, not one or two.

Most of the players on the defensive team can't be guarded one on one open your eyes homie
Posted on 8/27/15 at 4:51 pm to Boomshockalocka
So there are 50 players who can't be guarded one on one.
There are 6 or 7 (my numbers) players on an all defensive team, who also can't be guarded one on one.
Ad is one of those 6 or 7 players.
Of those 6 or 7 players, AD had the highest PER.
Again, thanks for further proof re AD's league domination.

PER doesn't mean much. Unless it's good for my argument. Then it means a lot. -Boom

Come find me when he wins a playoff game bro, WINNING is the name of the game, not all this highest PER BS. You don't think other players could've had the highest PER if that's what they were trying do? Surely they could've but they wanted to WIN more than they wanted highest PER so their focus was wins not stat compiling.
Posted on 8/27/15 at 4:59 pm to Fun Bunch
PER is great but don't tell the whole story. Can't lead a team to even a playoff win sorry but that high PER loses a bit of its luster.
However say you win back to back titles and are MVP both years. One year PER was 30 the next it was 28. Safe to say the year where PER was a 30 was the better year. That's how PER should be used imo.

You know what AD's best stat is? 22 years old.
Posted on 8/27/15 at 5:07 pm to Boomshockalocka
PER should only be used in the year a player wins a title. Got it.
