A moment of solidarity between Rockets and Pelicans fans.

I feel for you my New Orleanian brothers. Not only have our teams gotten off to rocky starts, but it seems our teams both have the same problems.
Star player not playing well, team sucks on offense and defense, and the offense looks like nobody knows what they are doing.
The two teams are like spitting images right now.
Our respective teams are not this bad. They are just going through a funk right now. They'll both get it going and it will be alright. Chill my avian bros. We shall overcome.

What is it with Rockets fans? They are always trying to treat NO fans like little brothers or something. Always trying to lump us together with them. It's some kind of strange passive superiority complex type of thing. I don't know where it comes from. They don't try to embrace Spurs or Maverick fans like that. It doesn't make sense. Why would a Pelican fan want to sympathize or pull for their biggest rival? Houston and New Orleans have almost no connection at all. Its even stranger that their fans are so prevalent on this part of the site. They can't keep threads going on the MSB, so they jump on threads on this page. Just trolling people on here all the time. They are becoming worse than Bama fans on the Rant, except that isn't tolerated for long..

The Rockets are rivals with the Mavs. Playoffs brews rivalries. When the Rockets/Pels have a couple of epic series, the friendliness will cease.

Really? You have been on this site for all of a month, according to your username. So how many times have you been booted from here? Sure you haven't been kicked off for trolling?
I don't think that NO fans come to this site to talk smack with Rocket's fan or that it is the purpose for this page. You might want to check that. Well before you get banned again..

Lots of teams have had rough beginnings this season. No real parallels in-between the teams. Other than some kind of relationship that Rockets fans think that they have with Pelican fans. Which I'm telling you is imaginary and one sided. It doesn't exist. I don't want to console Rocket fans and sympathize with them. I'm glad your team is struggling and hope it keeps going on.

Check out the MSB. Tons of Pels fans starting threads to talk shite about the Rockets, and every thread about Houston attracts Pels fans. This board has a ton of Houston haters. It's just how it is.

No, the struggles aren't similar. Are over half your starters injured? Brand new coach and system? So yeah, not really similar at all.
All you wanted to do was start a talk on the Rockets, on the Pelicans board. That belongs on the MSB and fans on here don't want to talk about it. You have to be able to understand that..

All of you. I don't like the Saints, don't know what a fark is and suck at fishing, so I don't post on those boards. You are trolling this board. Talk about the Rockets belongs on the other board. You guys keep trying to steal the board. Its not going to happen.
Btw, Pelican fans can post on the MSB and talk basketball whenever they want. That's what that board is for and most of us like talking about other teams as well. That's why they post over there and talk smack. But that is where it belongs. Do you get it?

You mean the Mavs and the Spurs are Rivals.. When Houston wins a conference title or the finals then you can put your self in their company.

And during the preseason Howard, Harden, Lawson, Jones, Capela, Thornton, Beverley, and Motiejunas were all injured. They didn't get to practice with a healthy roster to learn to play together.
Same with the Pelicans. So there are similarities.
My point of starting the thread was that both of our fan bases talk crap to each other and both of our teams got off to terrible 0-3 starts and look similar in their ineptness.
It's like after all of both of our trash talk, look at how bad we're both sucking.

Maybe it's just that we just weren't around when they were coming up. Before the Hornets came along, the only team I had a connection to was the Rockets because my dad lived there. When the Hornets came along, I was maybe 12-13 so it wasn't hard to make the jump, but I still went to Rockets games and cheered for them when it wasn't against my team. We don't really have a "rival".
I'll be excited for the day that we do have a rival that I hate, and it'd be great for it to be the Rockets. I just don't have any anger towards them outside of being happy every time we beat them.
