I expect the Pels to get absolute shite officiating @Suns, @Warriors, and vs. Lakers.

To be honest, I’d be happy if we went 2-5. We have serious 0-7 or 1-6 potential.

You don’t believe this, do you? If the over under on wins was 2.5 games, you would honestly take the under? With games against Portland and San Antonio being likely wins, I like our odds of winning 1 out of Lakers, Warriors, Kings, Magic and Suns.

You know what’s going to piss me off? When the Lakers beat us the last game to put us in the play in tourney and then the Lakers or Warriors beat us in the play in. #frickwillie

Good chance LA and GSW will have their seeds locked up when we play them.

Mavs lost and Clippers lost.

Pels surely squander opportunity to move back into 5th tomorrow

That game seemed to be the first one in a long time that actually benefits the Pelicans. It was just a bunch of worst case scenarios over the last week or so it seemed.

I’m mostly a let the chips fall where they may type, but I kind of want 6th now. This team needs some changes and I don’t think a 1st round opponent they match up well against in the Clippers and a 2nd round opponent they would expect to lose against in Denver tells them what to work on as much as other paths.

I agree with this but this organization will call this a successful season and run this back no matter what happens in playoffs. If thats the case, lets make the most of this ride. Im ok with #5 or #6 seed if we avoid Dallas and Denver at all costs. Any other team I think we have a shot against.

True. But if they somehow sink to the play in then lose and not make the playoffs? Hopefully- that would force some major changes, like Griffin stepping down or being replaced. Then Ingram traded for Trae Young. Would missing the playoffs be worth it if it caused the needed changes? I say yes

If we drop to play in, which seems like a 50/50 at this point, then I think you have to move on from Willie.

Of course they will blame Ingram injury.

Bottom line is Pels need to go 4-1 or 3-2 with one of those wins being over the Suns. Otherwise it is play-in. I don’t understand why the Pels can’t go on a silly run like most teams do where we win 9 in a row.

I’m sorry this is ridiculous this would not be worth it. You’re asking to sabotage this whole season to get Trae Young who’s team is under .500 and the 10 seed in the east. I get we lost 3 out 4 against some very good teams but some of you guys need to get a hold of yourselves. Ebs and flows of a season man- it happens.

We have 7 games left if Pels go 4-3 we should get 6 seed.

where do you see the 4 wins though. Magic, Spurs. Trailblazers, Kings?

But that means we lose to warriors. Suns, lakers - all teams vying for our spot. Warriors can’t really catch us but Lakers surely can. I can see the Lakers going 5-1 and beating us at home for the 6.
